Renting the Hall, Chapel or Church 

Companies and charities are welcome to rent the hall, church or chapel for a one-off event or on a regular basis.

Renting the Hall, will give you access to the kitchen and all its facilities, as well as our tables and chairs. We have 90 folding chairs and the hall can comfortably accommodate large groups of 100 people. 

The Chapel is a small cosy room, adjoining the Church building.  It's perfect for small groups of about 10 to 15 people.

The Church building has a 300 seat capacity and is more suited to large conferences. The building is heated and a wall projector and microphones are available on request.

Rates for hiring the hall, chapel or church:

Please email hello@st-matts.org.uk for latest rates. Due to the energy cost increases we are having to price on a case by case basis depending on requirements.  
 

Parking:

You can park in the grassed area in front of the church. If this is closed because of very wet weather, you can park in Coronation Square or the surrounding streets. 
Parking on the tarmac by the entrance is limited to 7 spaces.
Disabled parking - there are 2 spaces just outside the main entrance.
 

Public Transport:

Yellow Route 26 stops in front of the church - the Coronation Square stop.
 

Cycling:

We have some cycle racks where you can safely lock your bike by the side of the main entrance.
