To be criticised is to feel we're being attacked - it hurts! Nehemiah shows us how to respond in the right way without being deflected from God's purpose for our lives.

Jesus calls us not to judge but to love and bless, whatever the consequences, in a counter cultural life lived under grace.

In the second of our Lent series on 'Becoming a Christ-Like Church' Jo explains that to have a heart of compassion, we need the heart of Jesus.

Our tongue has so much influence on our lives, it has the potential for good but also for bad. In this talk Jo brings us three great applications for our lives from this passage in James.. At this All Age Service on Pentecost Sunday Jo encourages us to ask for more of the Holy Spirit. We also learn about key attributes that the Holy Spirit gives us: Guidance, Courage, Obedience and Joy!

In this passage we hear about Jesus facing three temptations and how he deals with them. There's some great lessons for our lives today as we face good times and dark times.
